Well it looks like I’m a monkey’s uncle as Wisdom have come up with the Construction plans bang on ten working days 🙂 . Unfortunately there were errors so they had to be redrawn and now they need further fixes which all takes time.
I’m not sure if I am nit picking but if they are a legal document then I want them to be correct down to the fine detail. Having read the different threads on the HomeOne building forum
if a problem arises down the line the different builders will refer to the plans and say ‘… well you signed them off…’.
They will not issue our End Panel until our construction plans are signed off which is a bit of a pain as our bank won’t work off the Draft End Panel. Hopefully they will update the plans today and then we can sign them off and move forward.
I was told to expect the plans on Tuesday so I was caught on the hop when they arrived on Monday. Instead of waiting for them to appear in my inbox I spent the day in Sydney with a friend and walked over the Harbour Bridge to climb the Pylon.
The Chinese New Year Festival is in full swing in Sydney and you can see the Lanterns of the Terracotta Warriors at Hickson Road Reserve at Dawes Point from the Pylon.
Meanwhile I have been busy with my work in progress of making pouches for joeys and possums orphaned in the bush fires.
[my mother’s trusty 1970’s Bernina which I inherited and is still going strong 🙂 ]
As I had to buy the flannel I thought I’d have a bit of fun. I made the largest size for joeys and if they shrink in the wash they’ll fit the possums instead!
Update: Looks like I’ll be washing them as I just saw this…
